Trim Levels of the 2023 Ford F-150

The 2023 Ford F-150 has quickly become known for its incredible performance and off-roading capabilities, though it’s also been praised for its interior luxury comforts. It’s perfect for heavy workloads as well, with plenty of productivity features available, from a work surface in the cabin to a mobile electricity generator in the bed. However, one of its greatest attributes is that it offers eight distinctive trim levels for you to choose from, which all offer their own unique features.

XL

The base trim, XL, is perfect for anyone looking for an affordable work truck with all the necessities. It comes standard with a powerful 290-horsepower 3.3-liter engine, available four-wheel drive, the SYNC 4 infotainment system, and advanced safety features, including Pre-Collision Assist and Automatic High-Beam Headlamps.

XLT

XLT models share the same engine as XL models but add more standard features, like cruise control and halogen fog lamps, as well as BLIS, a blind spot warning system. It also offers more advanced tech features, including Pro Trailer Backup Assist, which provides a dial in the cabin for steering the direction of trailers.

Lariat

The Lariat trim introduces a stronger standard engine, a 2.7-liter V6 that boasts 325 horsepower. It also adds a bit more luxury with heated and ventilated seats and comes with a 12-inch productivity screen for its SYNC 4 system instead of the smaller 8-inch one, as well as Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start.

King Ranch

For a Western-themed trim, there’s King Ranch, which comes with a Mesa leather-wrapped steering wheel and unique 20-inch wheels that have King Ranch ornaments attached to them. This is the first trim that comes standard with a V8 engine, a stunning 400-horsepower one, as well as an integrated trailer brake controller for heavy loads.

Platinum

When it comes to style and luxury, the Platinum trim definitely takes things up a notch. This trim offers 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and chrome side mirrors outside, dual-zone climate control, a black leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an Active Motion massage setting for the seats inside, and a 360-degree camera system to visualize your surroundings.

Limited

The Limited trim comes standard with a fuel-efficient 3.5-liter hybrid V6 that delivers 430 horsepower and an impressive 12,700-pound towing capacity. It also comes with additional luxury features, like a standard twin-panel moonroof, and more safety and convenience, with both front and rear parking sensors.

Tremor

While the Tremor trim’s standard engine is the same 400-horsepower V8 found in the Platinum and King Ranch trims, it distinguishes itself with many off-road-enhancing features, such as an exclusive set of rugged-looking step boards, an electronic-locking differential for more traction, and high-strength skid plates.

Raptor

For the ultimate in rugged adventures, the Raptor comes standard with a 450-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and is the only trim to offer an optional 700-horsepower V8 for high-adrenaline off-roading. It also comes with an active-valve exhaust system that allows you to adjust the vehicle’s muffler sounds, sport-tuned shock absorbers, and a 5-link suspension system, for improved handling at high speeds.

Regardless of which trim level you go with, the 2023 F-150 clearly offers something for everyone, and each trim delivers impressive performance and first-class cabin features.
